Released in 2013, the TaylorMade SLDR fairway wood features an improved, compact Speed Pocket design combined with an exceptionally low-and-forward center of gravity (CG). Engineered to maximize initial ball speed while dramatically cutting backspin, its charcoal-gray crown profile incorporates a 12-position Loft Sleeve allowing ±1.5° of trajectory tuning.
Fitted with the Japan-spec TM1-114 Regular flex graphite shaft (~50g), this setup delivers a smooth, easy-swinging profile. Its active tip section helps moderate-tempo golfers elevate launch angles to complement the low-spinning head, promoting optimal carry and distance off the tee or turf.
